Σπούδασε Ηλεκτρολογία και Μαθηματικά στο Πολυτεχνείο
Darmstadt Γερμανίας με ειδίκευση στη Θεωρητική Ηλεκτρολογία. Διπλωματούχος Ηλεκτρολόγος και Διδάκτωρ Μηχανικός. Διετέλεσε βοηθός και επιμελητής στο Πολυτεχνείο Darmstadt, επιμελητής και λέκτορας στο Ε.Μ. Πολυτεχνείο, από το 1984 μόνιμος καθηγητής στο ΤΕΙ Αθήνας. Διδάσκει «Βασική Ηλεκτροτεχνία», «Εφαρμογές Πολυμέσων» και «Ιστορία της Τεχνολογίας», έχει συγγράψει 14 βιβλία Βασικής Ηλεκτροτεχνίας και εφαρμογών των Η.Υ. και έχει δημιουργήσει εφαρμογές ηλεκτρονικών πολυμέσων για μεμονωμένους ΗΥ, για τοπικά δίκτυα και για το Internet. Από το 1985 εκπαιδευτικός υπεύθυνος και συντονιστής επιμορφωτικών προγραμμάτων διαφόρων
ιδιωτικών και δημόσιων φορέων με κύρια αντικείμενα τα Πολυμέσα και το CAD. Ιδιωτικά ασχολείται με την ψηφιακή φωτογραφία, με τις χρήσεις του υπολογιστή στη ζωγραφική και στη μουσική και παίζει φλάουτο. Μελετάει από τα φοιτητικά του χρόνια τη ζωή, το έργο και την εποχή του
W.A.Mozart.

G. FRANGOPOULOS, Dr.Eng., Professor
Studied Electrotechnics and Mathematics at the Technical
University of Darmstadt in Germany, with specialization in Theoretical
Electrotechnics. Electrical Engineer and Dr. Engineer of this University.Assistant
at the Darmstadt University, Assistant and Lecturer at the Technical University of Athens. He joined the Technological Education Institute (TEI) of Athens in 1984 as Professor. He teaches «Basic Electrotechnics», «Multimedia Applications» and «History of the Technology», he is the author of 14 books about Basic Electrotechnics and Computer Applications and he has created numerous
multimedia applications for stand alone computers, for local networks and for the Internet. Since 1985 he is the educational supervisor and coordinator of programs regarding the training or further education with main objectives Computer Aided Design (CAD) and the Multimedia. In his private time he is concerned with the digital photograph, the application of the computer in artistic painting and in music.and
he plays the flute. From
his student years he studies the works, the life and the era of W.A.Mozart.

Studierte Elektrotechnik und Mathematik an der TH Darmstadt/D,
Fachrichtung Theoretische Elektrotechnik. Diplom- und Doktor- Ingenieur
dieser Hochschule. Assistent an der THD, Assistent und Lektor an der TUAthen,
seit 1984 ordentlicher Professor am TEI (FH) Athen. Er lehrt «Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik», «Multimedia-Anwendungen» und «Geschichte der Technik», hat 14 Buecher ueber Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik und ueber Computer-Anwendungen verfasst und hat ausserdem Multimedia-Anwendungen fuer Einzelrechner, Netzwerke und das Internet angefertigt. Seit 1985 hat er Weiterbildungsseminare von diversen oeffentlichen und privaten Traegern, haupsaechlich fuer CAD und Multimedia, organisiert und durchgefuehrt. Privat beschaeftigt er sich mit der digitalen Photographie, mit Computer-Anwendungen in der Malerei und der Musik und er spielt Querfloete. Seit seinen Studentenjahren studiert er das Werk, das Leben und die Zeit
von W.A. Mozart.
